POLISHED CONCRETE FLOORS

POLISHED CONCRETE

Polished concrete is considered a form of sustainable design pavement, since it uses a material that has already been placed.

Polished concrete floors are considered low maintenance because they are more durable and easier to clean than many flooring options. Its high coefficient of friction can make it not slippery. Polished concrete reduces the problems of mites and allergens, and does not allow mold growth. Improves natural lighting. Polished concrete floors are resistant to wear and will not splinter, such as softer surfaces such as tiles. Polished concrete is easily maintained with the use of water.

A concrete floor that has been hardened and polished will have an extremely long life expectancy compared to other floors ... it can last more than a century.
